this is to honor my friend, donald r.mcglothlin, who passed away this past week fighting the war in iraq. ryan was 26 years-old and a 2nd Lt. in the united states marine corps. he died nov. 16 from small arms fire while conducting combat operations against enemy forces during operation steel curtain in ubaydi, iraq. he was assigned to battalion landing team 2nd battalion, 1st marine regiment, 13th marine expeditionary unit, I marine expeditionary force, camp pendleton, california.

my heart breaks and mourns along with the rest of his family and friends. may the mercy, goodness, closeness and the soverignty of the Lord Jesus Christ be louder than any sorrow, hurting, and loss we feel. God is good tho i don't understand this world and the crap that goes on in it.
