an "off" dumpling day...

i was eating these dumplings during lunch. they're a little tricky to eat- you have to take a small bite, drink/suck the soup up, and then eat it. i am a PRO at this on every occasion except for this one. i got the soupy part in my hair. my hair smelled like dumplings all day... and it still does. not so good since i ate around 12:30pm and it is now 11:51pm (almost 12 hours later). i have been smelling and smelling like dumplings all day. shower time... i have a lame life... your comments.

speak english much?

so... i have been in the process of getting a new cell phone through www.wirefly.com i'm porting my number from sprint over to cingular. now i made this order on friday. from friday up until this afternoon, i have been on the phone for over 5 hours total. the customer service representatives are in india. that's fine... i'd rather them have the jobs here in the u.s., but whatever... my only requirement is that they speak english and understand what i ask and say. this would make sense since they're doing customer service to people who are also speaking english - more specifically - people in america. the only english they know are the words that are put up on the screen. they ask the same questions over and over. i ask a question, and they mambo around the question and ask me to hold so they can verify "it" when there is no "it" to verify. herrroooooo?!?!? can someone please speak in engrish to me?!?!?

another weird thing... all their names are weird. and by weird i mean... they are all clearly from india. out of the literal 15 million people that i talked to on the phone, ZERO had indian names. in example: sydney summers, lydia johnson, chris verit, chris james. there was even a WOMAN named MIKE!! mike definitely sounded like someone i spoke to before named sharon.

this is the closet that i have been to mad in a while... i better get this phone in tomorrow or the day after... less i fly to india and pay a little visit to john smith...
