worshington d.c... i HATE that!

who out there, during sometime their academic career, had a teacher that REFUSED to say WASHington correctly? people, there is no "R" in washington, just like there's no "I" in team. write it out if you have to...

on that note... i went to washington d.c. for thanksgiving. an interesting sight that struck me while walking around was a taxi cab. now this isn't just ANY taxi cab. look at this...

yes. this cab does say "presidential cab assn". it was so entertaining, we snapped a shot of it to laugh at during times like these. i hear clinton was cruisin around these parts in one of these classy cabs during his presidency... that's one way of reading the side lettering. another way... i saw it say "presidential cab assasination". a cab i wouldn't imagine a president would dare go near.

i went to the hirschorn art museum for the first time, though i had been to d.c. many times with family, school and whatever else. there, i have re-realized a desire in me to create. to inspire people, to make people talk, smile, laugh, be confused, whatever. i long to leave an impression with people. wow, that got pretty deep pretty quick. we took some nice pics...

this is how we spent close to 15-20 minutes of our time. i like taking pictures, and i like disco balls, and i like shiny things. put me in front of a huge disco mirror wall with bright lights reflecting off it, and i can be kept busy for days.
while at the museum, we did a little of our own installation art. here is one i did that i like to call "untitled no. 47". how about that folks? i'll be selling prints, so let me know if you want one. ;)
and i shall leave my last picture that i took right before i got busted. i really liked the contrast of the rainbow color scheme of the wall with the black and white of my shoes. i had my legs propped up on the arm of the sofa for support as i was taking the picture. security came up and shook their finger at me, and told me i had 9 minutes. hmm... nine minutes for just us? kinda an obscure number. or was the place closing in 9 minutes? strange. at least i got these sweet pictures.
